I thought you might want to get just a taste of what life is like with a 5-month-old who happens to be on oxygen.
It’s a constant battle to keep that thing OUT of his mouth! We have resorted to moving the stickers closer to his nose, and it seemed to do the trick…for a day! This kid is just too smart! It is quite entertaining, actually, to see the lengths he goes through to keep the cannula out of his nose.
Oh the oxygen... Hated it. Max was on it for a few months before and after heart surgery. And now he's on it again just at night for sleep apnea. But we do it by tent now, not cannula. Don't know if you're aware, or already have one, but you can get a disabled parking tag from the DMV while you're carrying oxygen around with you. It was heaven sent.
